Judith Mattingly

Judith holds a Masters of Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Architecture and B. Arts from Rice University. She is a registered architect in California and New York, and a Certified Green Building Professional and Advisor.

A founding partner of Mattingly Thaler Architecture in 1988, she has directed project planning as a Principal in Charge on a broad range of projects including high end residential projects in the San Francisco Bay area and restaurant and commercial interiors in New York and Florida. For Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto, Judith is the campus Architect and has led the master plan design and directed the design of several campus buildings, including classrooms, Administration building, dining hall, and dormitories.

Judith’s work has been recognized and exhibited in national design competitions, including the Korean Veteran’s Memorial and the Steadman Traveling Fellowship, and she is active in the creation of custom lighting and furniture. She has taught design at Harvard, the New Jersey Institute of Technology and at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
